Hina Khan Diagnosed With Stage 3 Breast Cancer: "I`m Determined To Overcome..."

With everything phenomenal going around, we come bearing some shocking news. Television actress and Bigg Boss 11 winner Hina Khan has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. She announced the sad news in her recent Instagram post, asking fans to pray for her healthy and speedy recovery.

The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress announced the heartbreaking news with her fans and followers on Friday, June 28. Rumors of something going on with her health had been doing the rounds. Hina confirmed her diagnosis and assured she was doing well.

Hina Khan is one of the few television personalities who has been a victim of breast cancer. Earlier in 2022, actress Chhavi Mittal was diagnosed with the same disease and soon became cancer-free.

The Bigg Boss 11 contestant, who was also the season's winner, took to Instagram and shared the news. Confirming her diagnosis, Hina penned down a rather long and emotional note.

Her post read, 'Hello everyone, To address the recent rumor, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I wish to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun, and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger.'


"I kindly ask for your respect and privacy during this time. I deeply appreciate your love, strength, and blessings. Your personal experiences, anecdotes, and supportive suggestions would mean the world to me as I navigate this journey. I, along with my family and loved ones, remain focused, determined, and positive," she further wrote.

Concluding the post, Hina Khan wrote, "With the grace of the almighty, we believe I will overcome this challenge and will be completely healthy. Please send your prayers blessings and love.'

Actors drop heartfelt comments

As soon as the Kasauti Zindagi Kii actress shared the post on social media, her comments section was filled with supportive and affirmative messages from friends and colleagues in the industry.

Rashami Desai commented, 'You have always been very strong, and I am sending you prayer and lots of healing," while Ankita Lokhande wrote, "Hina, you are stronger than this that's it, girl!!! This shall also pass!! I'm sending love and lots of strength to you right away. God bless you.'

Symptoms of stage 3 breast cancer

Experts suggest that while stage three breast cancer is advanced, it is not metastic and is very treatable. While its exact cause isn't known yet, an individual is at risk due to factors like excessive use of alcohol, a family history of breast cancer, extreme exposure to radion, etc.

It can be cured with a variety of treatment options, like chemotherapy, surgery, targeted therapy, radiation, hormone therapy, or a combination of all these.

The common symptoms of breast cancer stage 3 include:

- Change of skin color around the breast area
- A lump in or near the breast
- Thickened, dimpeled, or ulcerated skin on the breast
- Large or swollen red breasts
- Nipple changes such as discharge, peeling, flaking, or flattened nipples
