Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva, the much-awaited film of the year will hit the theaters on September 9. The movie will feature Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and many other big celebrities in cameo roles. The trailer and the songs released created a lot of buzz all over. The first part took a total of five years to make.
Even before the release of the first part, rumors are there that the sequel of Ayan Mukerji's trilogy movie will feature Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in pivotal roles. Earlier there were speculations about Hrithik Roshan playing Ranveer Singh's role in the movie. According to recent reports, Ranbir and Alia will also be seen in the sequel and they will have two parallel stories. If reports were to be believed, just like Marvel movies, there will be cameos that will be interlinked in further movies at the end of every film.
A source close to the makers said, "No doubt, it will be a casting coup if Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh are in one film! However, it will be important to maintain that each has integral parts. As for their roles, Alia and Ranbir will be seen as their respective characters from Part 1, and will have stories that run parallel to each other.'
There is no official statement about the same by the makers but if the reports are to be true then watching Alia-Ranbir and Deepika-Ranvir together will surely be interesting.
Just a question, is this another attempt by Bollywood to copy or 'get inspired' by Marvel?
