Senapathy has become 85 years old. He is fighting like this at the age of 100."
Another viewer doubted whether the CGI fixes for Senapathy`s aged look would be completed in time. While expressing their admiration for both Haasan and Shankar, they stated, "I hope they do not let us down."

The absence of the late writer Sujatha, a trusted professional partner of director S. Shankar, is believed to have significantly affected the outcome of the project. Sujatha was renowned for his exceptional screenplay and dialogue writing skills, and his absence has been deeply felt. Some social media users have even directly criticised Shankar`s directorial style, highlighting that his work no longer matches today’s standards.
