Ananya Panday in a still from Kho Gaye Ham Kahan trailer
The trailer for Kho Gaye Ham Kahan was released on Sunday, and it stars Ananya Panday, Adarsh Gourav, and Siddhant Chatruvedi in the lead roles. Giving a feel of a new-age exploration of love and relationships amidst the boom of social media, the film looks promising. There are far too many interesting moments in the trailer itself that point to an engaging film.
The film is written by Zoya Akhtar, Arjun Varain Singh, and Reema Kagta. Zoya and Reema have previously given us films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, and Kho Gaye Ham Kahan seems to be operating in similar zones.
The trailer opens up to tell the story of three best friends, Neil (Adarsh Gourav), Imaad (Siddhant Chatruvedi), and Ahana (Ananya Panday), and how their dynamics change when they grapple with the complexities of life. The film is termed a `coming-of-age` story and has an overlying theme running through it about the changing nature of relationships in the age of social media.

The three leads made a joint statement about the film and said, "Kho Gaye Hum Kahan uniquely represents millennials and Gen Z, echoing their lives lived out both on social media and in the real world. It`s a story that needs to be told, a story our generation will wholeheartedly connect with, and we couldn’t be more proud to have been a part of it."

Further, they added, "The best part is that during filming, we immersed ourselves so deeply in our roles that our on-screen friendship seamlessly transformed into real camaraderie off-camera. We can’t wait for Netflix audiences around the world to discover our labor of love."
Debut director Arjun Varain Singh called the film a story that is close to his heart. He said that he wanted to tell a story about the generation he grew up with.
He added, "The twenties mark the most exciting yet daunting chapter of life, and navigating through that maze while growing up in the digital age amidst the chaotic world of social media can be even more overwhelming. Kho Gaye Hum Kahan features an incredibly talented cast who brought this story to life with their utmost dedication and belief."
Kho Gaye Ham Kahan also stars Kalki Koechlin and Vijay Maurya in important roles.
