Virat Kohli to Leave India and Relocate to London With Wife Anushka and Kids

Indian cricket icon Virat Kohli is planning a significant life change. The celebrated batter and former captain is reportedly set to leave India and settle in London with his wife, actor Anushka Sharma, and their two children, Vamika and Akaay. The news has surprised fans worldwide, adding another chapter to Kohli`s remarkable journey.
The Kohli-Sharma family already owns a property in London, which they frequent. Their second child, Akaay, was born in London earlier this year in February, further deepening their connection to the city.

Kohli began the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy in Australia with a brilliant century in Perth. However, he managed only 21 runs across the next three innings. His next major assignment will be the Champions Trophy, and Sharma is confident Kohli will deliver stellar performances in the Boxing Day Test and New Year Test.
With senior players like Ravichandran Ashwin retiring and Kohli now in his mid-30s, fans have been speculating about his retirement timeline. Sharma confidently stated, “Virat is still very fit, and he is not old enough to take retirement. I think he will play for five more years. He will definitely play for India in the 2027 ODI World Cup.”

The revelation about Kohli’s move came from his childhood coach, Rajkumar Sharma. In an interview with Dainik Jagran, Sharma shared, “Virat apne baccho aur patni Anushka Sharma ke sath London mein shift hone ki yojna bana rahe hain. Vo bahut jald hi Bharat chor kar waha basne wale hai.” He further added that Kohli plans to spend the rest of his life in London after retiring from cricket.The Kohli-Sharma family already owns a property in London, which they frequent. He scored a century in the first Test against Australia. I believe in the upcoming two Tests, he is going to score two more centuries. His form is not a matter of concern.
