And the superstar could have used that emotional connection to deliver an emotional speech in the climax. If you are looking for the perfect combination of action, thrill, emotion, and drama, Pathaan is the best for you! It is high on star power and style. Pathaan, Jim, and Rubina hop continents and indulge in a dangerous game of betrayal and revenge. The three races to destroy and protect the worlds they love. The highlight of the film is, however, the portrayal of John Abraham as Jim. John&rsquo;s stunt sequences will surely blow your mind, he is outstanding and makes a classic case of the villain overshadowing the hero in portions. Deepika Padukone&rsquo;s never seen look is sizzling and she is perfectly cast. Talking of Salman Khan&rsquo;s cameo as Tiger, every minute he is on the screen warrants a whistle from the audience.</p>

Headlined by Rakul Preet Singh, the movie revolves around breaking stereotypes and speaking about condoms without them being taboo. While we like to use fancy terms for condoms like a `balloon` or a `chhatri`, Chhatriwali is here to go in-depth about why using and talking about condoms is not taboo.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Chhariwali revolves around a girl next-door Sania Dhingra (Rakul Preet) who belongs to a small town Karnal and is desperately looking for a well-paying job to be independent. While she goes around tutoring school kids in her locality, it meagrely fetches her any money. Highly focused on fetching a decent job, she hops on from one interview to another but finds no luck. One fine day she has a chance to meet with Ratan Lamba (Satish Kaushik) who is highly impressed by her knowledge of chemistry.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Lamba immediately offers Sania the job of Quality Control Head at his company but the only catch here is he owns a condom-making company, Condo Condoms, in Karnal. While Sania contemplates taking up the job, the tempting salary forces her to say yes. But you know what they say - charity begins at home. Chhatriwali is the classic case of spreading awareness in society but there`s a lack of awareness within the four walls you live in.&nbsp;</p>
<p>When she realizes the importance of a condom, Sania tries to convey the same to her husband Rishi Kalra (Sumeet Vyas) who feels using a condom is like &lsquo;raincoat pehenke baarish mein bheegne ka kya mazaa.&rsquo; While Sania is on a mission to convey how condoms are not just used to prevent pregnancies, she is on a mission to make an impact on conventional society.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The performances! We`ll say this again and again - Rakul Preet Singh ate the movie and how. The Chhatriwali was carried off Chhatriwali on her shoulders. Playing the girl-next-door, which she has played quite a few times in her short career, is a delight to watch. Sumeet Vyas proves he is a rising star and blends into his character effortlessly. Adding that little masala to the film is Satish Kaushik with his expertise in pulling off character roles.&nbsp;</p>

<h3>What Went Downhill</h3>
<p>It isn`t the first time Bollywood has produced a movie that revolves around a delicate topic like this. We`ve had Aparshakti Khurrana`s Helmet, which dealt with the subject in a humorous way, and Nusshratt Bharuccha`s Janhit Mein Jaari, which pressed on the seriousness of the issues.</p>
<p>While Chhatriwali addresses the issue, it fails to convey a message either way. The Tejas Vijay Deoskar directorial is more of a family problem than becoming a societal or rather universal issue.&nbsp;</p>

<h3>The Final Verdict</h3>
<p>Chhatriwali is a must-watch if you`ve ticked every interesting movie or web series off of your list. If executed rightly, the movie would`ve bought it home with a big 4 stars. However, Radio City`s verdict would be 2.5 stars, solely for the performances.&nbsp;</p>

<p>If you like to waste your precious time and money on things that are not so useful, you can use it to invest in purchasing the tickets of "Thank God". Thank God was released on October 25. Starring Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh. After watching the trailer which already made me believe that the movie is not even going to be liked by the die-hard fans of Sidharth Malhotra, it became a box-office disaster.</p>
<p><br />The story is about Ayan Kapoor (Sidharth Malhotra) who gets into an accident and finds himself in a place that looks unrealistic. There he meets Lord Chitragupt (Ajay Devgn), where CG asks Ayan to play a game of life and death, giving him a chance to save his life.</p>
<p><br />The story is good enough but the acting will make you regret watching the movie. Talking about Sidharth Malhotra who always fails to give his best expressions to the dialogues he is delivering, lacks in providing justice to the character of Ayan. There is a funny scene in the film where Ayan`s wife Ruhi (gorgeous &nbsp;Rakul Preet Singh, despite playing a small role) is supposed to accuse him of lying. She says something like <em>"tumhari expression se toh nahin lagta"</em> - as if she was talking to the actor, not the character. This made me laugh out loud.</p>
<p><br />As per the script, it was supposed to be a movie that connects the audience with the harsh reality of the world we are living in. But, it fails to do so because of the actors who lack to give justice to the characters. Well, I have successfully wasted the 2 hours and 10 minutes of my life by watching this film. If you don`t wish to waste yours, go and re-watch something you like.&nbsp;</p>

Abhanga Repost Launches Its Debut Album Vaari and releases track Bhoot Jabar

<p>Abhanga Repost is a Contemporary Folk Fusion Band who recreates Abhangas into songs by replacing Taals &amp; Kartals with Drums &amp; Guitars and fusing it with Pop, RnB, Rock &amp; Reggae Music.</p>
<p>Widely known all across Maharashtra, the indie band Abhanga Repost launches its debut album called &lsquo;Vaari&rsquo;. The album consists of total 7 music tracks.</p>
<p>What makes the band stand out is the album&rsquo;s leading track &lsquo;Bhoot Jabar&rsquo; a Marathi Fork Artform sheds light on to searing topics such as casteism, women foeticide, equality, environmentalism, etc and refuses to go adrift. This track is a fusion of Rock &amp; Reggae, wherein the Rock section is used in the Chorus of the song &amp; the Reggae is used precisely in the track.</p>

<p>Given the festive season and the wedding season that the country is looking forward to embrace, Mumbai-based electro act Lost Stories, featuring Rishab Joshi and Prayag Mehta, and established mainstream singer Jonita Gandhi combine forces for the third time to deliver another beautiful rendition with `Mehndi Te Vavi`.<br /><br />A rearrangement of the popular Gujarati folk track, the composition comprises the use of traditional folk alongwith additional strings by Jay Pei and flutework by Shriram Sampath. The duo have also released the song`s official music video which features Telugu actress Simran Chaudhary alongside social media influencer Mr. MNV. The video has been directed by Sarthak Cheema.<br /><br />The collaborative forces of Lost Stories and Gandhi has always proven to work its magic upon their fans. When the two forces first worked together on reworking the popular Tamil hit, `Vaseegara`, it created a frenzy amongst fans leading to an online petition that drew over a thousand signatures urging the artistes to officiate a release alongwith a performance video which witnessed over 14 million views.<br /><br />In 2020, the duo came together again for the poignant yet liberating `Mai Ni Meriye`, which proved to be a huge lockdown hit.<br /><br />`Mehndi Te Vavi` is now playing on leading music portals and on Radio City Freedom.</p>
